Job Description

-Implementing individualized educational and behavioral programs designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Direct 1:1 Therapy service in a child's home, school, or another natural environment.
  • Teaching new academic, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.
  • Effectively responding to and minimizing difficult or disruptive behaviors.
  • Creating a fun, motivating experience to generate the highest level of performance for every individual.
  • Collect data on scheduled goals and use established system to enter, track, and view / write progress.
  • Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Collaborate with treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Analyst, Responsible Certificants, and co-workers.
  • Completes RBT Renewal requirements each year and keeps registration to the BACB current.
  • Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures and attends all staff meetings.
  • Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
  • Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information.
  • Demonstrates effective time management skills through daily documentation.
  • Maintains current CPR certification and any other In-services required by Agency and its standards.
  • Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites within Hillsborough County.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License & insurance in good standing.
  • Provide a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
