Job Description

DARTherapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for a 13 year old boy ASD client. As an RBT, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will work closely with clients, families, and caregivers to implement behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing support to achieve targeted goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients. Collect data on client progress and report findings to the BCBA. Collaborate with the BCBA to develop, modify, and revise behavior intervention plans as needed. Communicate regularly with clients, families, and caregivers to provide ongoing support and progress updates. Attend regular meetings with the BCBA to review client progress and discuss treatment plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and client progress. Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards of behavior analysis.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred). Completion of a 40-hour RBT training program. Current RBT certification. Must be fluent ENGLISH (Required) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Willingness to adhere to ethical and professional standards of behavior analysis
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
  • Familiarity with medical records and terminology.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or children.
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
  • Strong patient care abilities.
  • Knowledge of creating care plans and assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Competence in medical documentation practices.
