Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) At Room for Growth, we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. The RBT will play a crucial role in providing behavioral health services to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with special needs and a commitment to promoting their overall well-being.Job Summary:
As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and providing behavioral therapy. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in achieving their goals and enhancing their quality of life.Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Behavior Analysts.
- Assist individuals with autism in developing skills related to ADLs.
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to address challenging behaviors.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective behavior management strategies.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive client information.
Qualifications:
- Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and special education practices.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
