Embrace ABA & Social Center is seeking compassionate, motivated, and dependable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and related developmental needs. The RBT will work under the supervision and direction of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans, teach functional and developmental skills, reduce challenging behaviors, collect accurate data, and support each client's progress across clinical, educational, and community settings. Essential Responsibilities Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy according to each client's individualized treatment plan. Implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs developed by the supervising BCBA. Teach communication, social, adaptive, academic-readiness, play, and daily-living skills. Implement evidence-based ABA strategies, including prompting, reinforcement, shaping, modeling, discrete-trial training, natural environment teaching, and functional communication training. Collect accurate and timely data on skill acquisition and behavior. Maintain professional and objective session documentation and SOAP notes within required timelines. Follow all BCBA instructions and treatment protocols consistently. Participate in BCBA supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and performance feedback. Communicate client progress, concerns, and significant events to the supervising BCBA. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and caregivers. Follow company policies, HIPAA requirements, safety procedures, and ethical standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment. Assist with transitions, activities, routines, and community-based programming when applicable. Support generalization of learned skills across people, environments, and activities. Maintain active RBT certification and comply with BACB requirements. Parent & Caregiver Communication RBTs are expected to maintain professional boundaries with caregivers. Clinical updates, treatment recommendations, schedule concerns, and changes to programming should be directed through the supervising BCBA or designated clinical leadership. RBTs may provide appropriate session-related information as directed by the BCBA and company policy but should not independently modify treatment plans or make clinical recommendations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred/required. Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred. Previous ABA experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned service locations when applicable. Ability to work collaboratively with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals. Ability to maintain accurate documentation and data collection. Must demonstrate professionalism, patience, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Physical Requirements The position may require: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and moving throughout the therapy environment. Engaging in play and other developmentally appropriate activities with clients. Assisting with safety procedures when necessary and within appropriate training. Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors and following established crisis/safety protocols. Maintaining the physical ability to provide active, hands-on services to children. Professional Expectations The successful candidate should: Arrive on time and be prepared for every scheduled session. Maintain consistent attendance and communicate absences according to company policy. Remain actively engaged with the client throughout the session. Avoid excessive personal phone use or non-client-related activities during sessions. Complete all required documentation accurately and on time. Accept coaching and feedback from the supervising BCBA. Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times. Protect client confidentiality and privacy. Follow the client's treatment plan exactly as written and seek BCBA guidance when clarification is needed.
