Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your energy and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living abilities. As an RBT, you will play a vital part in delivering direct behavioral therapy, collecting and analyzing data, and supporting clients in their journey toward greater independence and quality of life. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on approved treatment protocols Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in developing communication skills through evidence-based teaching strategies Conduct behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate regularly with supervisors, caregivers, and team members regarding client progress and care plans Follow ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure high-quality care Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder or disabilities is preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records, and documentation standards related to behavioral health Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting individuals with developmental disabilities Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively Excellent client communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach to care Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical information Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe is required or preferred Join us in making a meaningful difference by supporting individuals on their path toward greater independence!
