Job Summary:
Home Based in Duluth Provides 1:1 ABA therapy for children with autism spectrum disordersKey Responsibilities:
Ensures child's physical safetyProvides 1:1 teaching for children with autism spectrum disorderUses curricula and teaching methodologies/strategies as outlined by supervisors to teach a variety of skill types such play, communication, self-help and academicDevelops lesson plansIncorporates technology into instructionPromotes positive company moraleRecognizes issues/questions to bring to the supervisor's attentionOrganizes and maintains student data collection systemsCollects data during teachingHelps with preparation and organization of teaching materials/supplies for client programsParticipates in regular communications with client familiesRequirements:
A commitment to become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician by successfully completing a 40 hour course (no cost involved) in Applied Behavior Analysis.CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to achieve certification.
