The Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center provides individualized, short-term (up to 90 days) stabilization supports a maximum of sixteen (16) adults aged 18 and above who have intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) and/or co-occurring behavioral health (BH) diagnoses adults with. These individuals may be experiencing psychiatric crises or significant emotional/behavioral challenges that threaten their ability to remain in their current home environment.Location/Schedule:
750 Hazel Street, Macon, GA - Monday-Friday with some weekends, 8am-5:30pm or 3pm-11pm.Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior support plans designed by a Behavior Analyst to address crisis behaviors. Use evidence-based crisis response strategies, including de-escalation, calming techniques, and behavior redirection. Collect and document data on behaviors during crises to inform intervention planning and track progress. Assist with functional behavior assessments to identify behavior triggers and patterns. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (BCBAs, nurses, therapists, RBTs, DSPs) to ensure comprehensive care.Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in psychology, Behavior Analysis, Education, Social Work, or related human services field.Experience:
Minimum of 1 year completing comprehensive functional assessments and behavior support plans. Minimum of 2 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health needs.Training:
At least 35 hours of education/training in behavior analysis and behavioral support for individuals with developmental disabilities or must complete within the first 30 days of employment.Additional Benefits:
