Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As an RBT, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your role is vital in delivering personalized support that fosters skill development, enhances independence, and promotes positive behavior change. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals. Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care tasks, promoting independence. Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and reinforce skills across environments. Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding clients' medical records and personal information. Document session notes, progress reports, and other medical documentation accurately in compliance with agency standards. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities. Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage clients through structured activities. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to behavior management and progress tracking. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards related to behavioral health.
