Minimum Qualifications:
Currently certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is
REQUIRED
. Experience working as RBT with individuals with autism for minimum of 3 months. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, bend, sit (on the floor), stand for extended periods, walk (sometimes swiftly), and jump. Yep, we're talking major energy here! Posses adequate transportation. Bachelor's degree is preferred, but a passion for working with kids is the real MVP. Your Quest as an
RBT/ABA Technician:
This adventure involves delivering 1:1 ABA services to incredible kids with autism ages 2-12. Our Focus?..... Teaching skills and tackling those tricky and challenging behaviors. Your Role?...... Implementing treatment programs 1:1 with patients under the direct watchful eye of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This includes following the prescribed skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. You'll be a pro at completing necessary documentation, including session notes, progress summaries, and all the required reporting. We'll provide an ipad to help you. You'll assist parents and caregivers in implementing protocols and be a superstar communicator, keeping them in the loop on client progress. Protecting client confidentiality is your top priority, and you'll maintain a clean, safe, and super-organized work and therapy environment. Collaboration is key! You'll work closely with the treatment team including clients, parents, caregivers, outside professionals, and your fellow adventure-seekers.
