Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to implement evidence-based interventions, support clients in their daily lives, and make a meaningful difference in their growth and development. As an RBT, you will work closely with licensed behavior analysts to develop and execute personalized care plans, collect and analyze behavioral data, and foster positive behavior change in various settings, including home-based environments and schools. Your enthusiasm, compassion, and dedication will help empower clients to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill development through targeted behavioral strategies Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst Support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders by applying behavior management techniques Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards Communicate effectively with clients, families, educators, and healthcare teams to ensure cohesive care plans Support the implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals Engage in ongoing training on professional and ethical guidelines for behavior analysts, ensuring compliance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's standards Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially in behavioral health or special education settings Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards Ability to assist with ADLs and support client independence through therapeutic activities Excellent communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to ethical practices aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire; ongoing training provided if needed This paid position is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to grow professionally within the behavioral health field.
