Intervention Specialist - Inclusive Preschool Program (Full-Time and Part-Time) Join Our Team and Make a Difference Every Day! We are a small, nonprofit, inclusive preschool dedicated to helping young children of all abilities learn, grow, and thrive together. We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our collaborative team. If you are passionate about supporting children with developmental disabilities and autism in an inclusive early childhood setting, we would love to hear from you. As an Intervention Specialist, you will work directly with young children to help them build meaningful skills, increase independence, and develop positive social-emotional and behavioral strategies. Through evidence-based interventions, you will teach effective coping skills and positive behavior supports that reduce challenging behaviors while fostering confidence and success in the classroom. You will help children develop skills in areas including: Social and emotional development Communication and language Gross and fine motor development Self-help and daily living skills Community safety skills Positive behavior and self-regulation Other individualized developmental goals We pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive, team-oriented environment where collaboration among educators, therapists, and families is essential to every child's success. Schedule Full-time and Part-time positions available Monday through Friday Hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Responsibilities Implement individualized intervention plans for children with developmental disabilities and autism. Provide direct intervention and support in classroom and preschool settings. Use positive behavior support strategies and evidence-based interventions to encourage skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized goals. Monitor, document, and report progress toward developmental and behavioral goals. Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support children with activities of daily living and age-appropriate self-help skills as needed. Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. Participate in ongoing professional development, trainings, and team meetings. Qualifications-Required Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field. Experience working with young children with developmental disabilities and/or autism. Knowledge of evidence-based intervention techniques and positive behavior support strategies. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
