PROFESSIONAL EDUCATOR LICENSE WITH ELEMENTARY LBS 1 ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED
Additional Skills Required:
Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field; Minimum of five years providing behavioral support services in school settings; This position will support the district's elementary self-contained programs; Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention; Plans (BIPs); Expertise in crisis prevention and intervention; Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and application in educational settings; Familiarity/Experience in elementary self-contained special education settings; Certification in crisis prevention and intervention (e.g., CPI, Eukeru, LSCI)
Desirable Skills :
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification strongly preferred; Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency preferred; Traveling between Schneider and Smith
