This opening is for a child in Bolingbrook , with a set weekly schedule — and as we take on more cases in the area, there's room to grow your hours. You'll join an established team serving families across Illinois — with a BCBA who actually knows your client and answers the phone. Please note:
this position requires prior hands-on ABA experience working with children with autism. We are not able to consider applicants who have no prior ABA experience, and we are not hiring for training positions at this time. What you'll do Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and community settings Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) written by your supervising BCBA Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills Use reinforcement-based strategies to build positive behavior Collect session data accurately and submit notes on time Coach and collaborate with parents so skills carry over between sessions Attend paid team meetings, training, and supervision Follow BACB ethical, confidentiality, and safety standards What we're looking for Willingness to complete RBT certification , with our support, within your first [60] days — or an active RBT credential already in hand Prior hands-on ABA experience with children with autism is required — you've delivered 1:1 therapy, run discrete trial and naturalistic teaching programs, taken data during session, and worked from a written BIP. Minimum 3 months of direct ABA experience preferred. Comfortable implementing a behavior intervention plan independently in a family's home, with weekly BCBA supervision Must pass a background check and meet Illinois provider screening requirements If you've worked as a behavior tech, a 1:1 classroom aide running ABA programs, or in an ABA clinic — and you may have never got around to certifying — you're exactly who we're looking for. Pay and benefits $23.00 - $25.00 per hour , based on certification, experience, and availability Predictable, consistent weekly schedule you can plan around Consistent, responsive BCBA supervision — not a name on a form RBT certification support — we cover the 40-hour training, competency assessment, and exam costs.
