Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Registered Behavior Technician! Two full-time positions are available for the upcoming school year, offering the chance to make a lasting impact at local elementary campuses near Cicero, IL.
Position Details:
Full-time schedule: 8:20 am - 3:20 pm
Term:
Start ASAP through winter break, with the potential to extend into the spring semester (evaluation in late November)
Location:
Two different elementary schools (grades K-4) Caseload focus: Each RBT will primarily support one kindergarten student in a self-contained classroom

Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience working in school settings, especially with young children Ability to implement individualized behavior intervention plans Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Genuine passion for supporting student success in early childhood education Must be able to provide three professional references if offered a position
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavioral interventions and follow student-specific behavior plans Document progress and communicate updates to the supervising BCBA and educational team Promote skill-building, independence, and positive social interactions within the classroom Support a safe and structured environment tailored to each student's needs Participate in relevant training and ongoing professional development This is a fantastic opportunity to gain specialized experience in an educational environment, offering a consistent weekday schedule and the chance to work one-on-one with students making an important transition in their learning journey.
