Northwestern Illinois Association (NIA), a special education cooperative serving member school districts, is seeking a Licensed BCBA to provide behavioral consultation and direct services to students with disabilities. The BCBA will conduct functional behavior assessments, develop and monitor behavior intervention plans, and collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families. This role includes staff coaching, data analysis, and training to support evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments for students with disabilities across member districts Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, related service staff, and families Provide coaching and training to school staff on behavior strategies and ABA principles Collect, analyze, and report behavioral data to guide interventions and decisions Participate in multidisciplinary problem-solving and student support meetings Support crisis prevention and de-escalation in collaboration with school teams Contribute to professional development initiatives and regional trainings Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) development Data collection and analysis IEP collaboration and documentation Training and coaching educators School-based behavior consultation Crisis prevention and de-escalation Progress monitoring and reporting Special education laws and regulations (IDEA)
