Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support elementary students for the 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time contract position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a difference in early childhood education and behavioral support.
Key Details:
Full-time hours: 8:20 am - 3:20 pm Immediate start through winter break; strong potential to extend into the spring semester (with review around Thanksgiving) Two openings, each at a different elementary school (grades K-4) Primary focus on supporting a kindergarten student in a self-contained classroom setting
Qualifications and Requirements:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required Previous experience working with elementary-aged children or in a school environment is highly preferred Familiarity with implementing behavioral intervention plans and collaborating with special education teams Strong communication skills and adaptability to meet individual student needs Ability to maintain accurate records of interventions and student progress Professional references (3) required upon offer
Core Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one behavioral support to a kindergarten student in a self-contained classroom Implement individual behavior intervention plans in collaboration with classroom staff and specialists Assist the lead teacher in promoting positive learning and social interactions Monitor and document student progress and respond promptly to behavioral cues Communicate regularly with the educational team and parents as necessary This contract position offers a chance to work closely with dedicated professionals while making a meaningful impact on the growth and development of young learners.
