Job Description

Make a difference while building your career in behavioral health. Life Strategies, LLC is a growing behavioral health agency accredited by the Autism Commission on Quality (ACQ) . We are seeking a Behavior Consultant to join our team and provide behavioral support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and other behavioral health needs . This is a great opportunity for an experienced clinician or a new Master's graduate looking to build a career in behavioral health. Training, ongoing support, professional development, and supervision for licensure are available. What You'll Do As a Behavior Consultant, you will provide community-based behavioral services through the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program , working with individuals and their support teams in homes, community settings, day programs, and workplaces.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct behavioral assessments, observations, and functional assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) Provide behavioral consultation to individuals, caregivers, families, and direct support staff Train caregivers and staff on behavior strategies, skill development, and implementation of behavior plans Monitor client progress and make recommendations based on behavioral data Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other service providers Support individuals in developing functional, social, communication, and daily living skills Travel to client homes, day programs, workplaces, and community settings
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Special Education , or a related field Ability to meet Indiana Medicaid Waiver provider requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug screening Negative TB test Professional references New Master's graduates are encouraged to apply!
