Overview Join our dedicated team as a Pediatric Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Duties Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and feeding to promote independence and skill development Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring consistency and fidelity Support behavior management strategies by applying positive reinforcement techniques and de-escalation methods when necessary Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and update care plans tailored to each child's needs Document medical records, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Engage in ongoing training on medical terminology, ethical standards such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts, and best practices in behavioral health Qualifications Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligible for certification; prior experience working with children is highly preferred Demonstrated experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities in clinical, school, or home settings Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management techniques, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and support skill acquisition through teaching strategies aligned with ABA methodologies Strong communication skills for effective client interaction, team collaboration, and family support Familiarity with medical documentation procedures, medical terminology, and confidentiality requirements under HIPAA Experience working within special education environments or home-based behavioral programs is a plus Join us in making a meaningful difference!
