Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in the Kansas City, KS area. Three openings are available across two elementary schools and one middle school, making a significant impact on young learners' academic and personal development. As a valued member of the school's behavioral support team, you'll collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to deliver individualized interventions and help students succeed. This is an ideal position for passionate professionals dedicated to making a difference in a dynamic educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required) Previous experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to effectively implement behavior intervention plans Organizational aptitude and adaptability to busy school routines Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to assigned students Collect and track data on student behaviors and progress Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and support staff Foster positive relationships and encourage skill development in children and adolescents Aid in the implementation of IEPs and individualized behavior plans Maintain confidentiality and support a safe learning environment Participate in ongoing training and professional development You'll thrive in this role if you're committed to supporting the needs of diverse learners and are motivated to contribute to a collaborative school community.
