Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students as a Registered Behavior Technician! This contract opportunity is perfect for passionate RBTs interested in supporting PreK-12 students with behavioral and academic success. Work closely with experienced educators and school professionals to provide essential one-on-one and group behavioral interventions that help students thrive.
What We're Looking For:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience supporting children or adolescents, preferably in school or educational settings Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families Ability to follow BCBA-supervised behavior plans and collect accurate behavioral data Flexibility and reliability in adapting to diverse classroom environments across multiple grade levels (PreK-12) Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping every student achieve their potential Organizational skills and basic technology proficiency for data-tracking and reporting
Responsibilities:
Work 1:1 or in small groups to implement individual behavior intervention plans in classrooms Gather and record data on student progress and behaviors as directed by BCBAs Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to create a positive, supportive learning atmosphere Assist with social skills training, coping strategies, and reinforcement systems for students Facilitate communication between students, staff, and families regarding behavioral strategies Adapt interventions as needed for various ages and developmental levels Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times This contract role offers the chance to expand your experience in a collaborative, school-based atmosphere.
