Summary As a Registered Behavior Technician at Journey ABA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality ABA therapy to children and adolescents. This position is essential in helping clients achieve their goals and thrive in their everyday lives through tailored behavioral interventions. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients in developing skills for daily living and social interactions. Conduct data collection on client progress and behavior changes. Provide support during therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings. Educate clients and families about behavior management techniques and strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in care plans. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications
• 1 year experience working with individuals with autism in an ABA setting
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques is essential. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy. Familiarity with medical documentation practices is a plus. Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, OR verification of a completed 40-hour RBT training course from any BACB-approved provider. Pay:
