What you will be doing:

As a behavior therapist, you are directly responsible for providing the one-to-one instruction of skills and alternatives to interfering behavior(s) based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. What we are looking for in our team players: \~Helpful (but not required) to have experience with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities with accompanying behavioral disorders. \~Capability to work independently as well as in a team environment with colleagues and supervisors. \~Exhibits excellent articulation skills in both verbal and written communication. \~Possesses the aptitude to coordinate with others in recognizable and demonstrated ways. \~Excellent attention to detail \~Ability, with training, to perform appropriate physical restraint as needed \~Punctuality and accountability \~Capacity to maintain confidentiality and a high standard of ethics; Work well with teams (staff, families, and clinical consultants). \~Timely and accurate notification and documentation of incidents and plans. \~Can receive feedback in a professional manner and work independently with initial direction. \~Skilled at standing for extended periods of time when needed and/or walk/run after clients \~Excellent play skills for toddler/young child age groups, along with the agility to get up from and down to floor level to interact with clients at their level \~Capable of cleaning up after client sessions and helping out other staff when asked.

Qualifications:

\~Must have a GED/High School Diploma or higher \~Must have a valid driver\'s license \~Must have a reliable vehicle available to them at all times \~Must successfully pass a CORI check \~Must successfully pass a DRIVING record check

• Experience preferred but not required, will train the right candidate.
