Job Description

ABA Counselor Stoughton, MA Melmark Overview Melmark is a nonprofit organization providing clinically-sophisticated evidence-based special education, residential, vocational, and therapeutic services for children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, medical complexities, and other neurological and genetic disorders. Behavioral Technician Overview Join our team as an ABA Counselor where you'll play a vital role in providing educational instruction to students within a structured classroom environment. You'll assist in developing teaching plans tailored to the needs of children and adolescents with emotional, developmental, and/or behavioral challenges. Behavioral Technician Schedule and Salary Information $28-$32/hour Monday to Friday schedule 8-4:30pm Behavioral Technician Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Service Field, or Psychology
  • Valid US driver's license and minimum age of 21
  • Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
  • Experience or interest in Applied Behavior Analysis and special education preferred Behavioral Technician Responsibilities
  • Provide educational instruction to students in a structured classroom environment
  • Assist in developing and implementing teaching plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Implement behavior management and clinical protocols effectively
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
