Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students with unique social and emotional needs within a dynamic school environment. This position centers on delivering specialized behavioral services in an integrated program for middle schoolers, focusing on those who benefit from intensive interventions alongside their peers in a general education setting. You will have the opportunity to start immediately, working alongside the current BCBA for a thorough transition before taking on primary responsibilities when their leave begins in December. This full-time role (40 hours/week; 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.) is located at a vibrant middle school, with occasional after-school meetings.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure required Experience working with students with significant social/emotional needs preferred Familiarity with structured, therapeutic, or integrated support programs in educational settings Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Excellent skills in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavioral interventions Adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and staff
Core Responsibilities:
Support the Pyramid Program, providing behavioral and therapeutic services in a structured classroom setting Collaborate with school staff to design and adjust individualized behavioral interventions Analyze data and adjust programming to drive positive student outcomes Offer training, consultation, and support to teachers and support staff Maintain documentation that aligns with school and professional standards Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, including occasional sessions after hours
