Job Description
Heartlinks ABA MD seeks an RBT/ABA Therapist to provide afternoon 1:1 therapy to children with autism in Westminister, MD. In this role, you'll implement BCBA-designed behavior and skill-building programs across home, center, and community settings, while accurately collecting data and following treatment plans. You'll collaborate closely with families and a supportive clinical team in a child-centered, growth-focused environment. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home, center, and community settings during afternoon hours Implement behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA, including skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs Collect and record accurate session data using electronic systems to track progress and treatment fidelity Follow safety, ethical, and confidentiality standards in line with BACB and company guidelines Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members to support treatment goals and generalization of skills Participate in initial and ongoing training, competency checks, and performance feedback sessions Support parent training sessions as directed by the supervising BCBACommunicate session updates, concerns, and notable behaviors to supervisors and caregivers Assist with preparation of session materials and reinforcement systems Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled afternoon sessions Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Natural Environment Teaching (NET) Behavior data collection and graphing Behavior reduction strategies Reinforcement and prompting procedures Use of electronic health/clinical data systems Safety crisis prevention and de-escalation basics Professional documentation and reporting Collaboration with BCBAs and caregivers
