Monday-Friday:

9:00 AM-7:00

PM Tuesday-Saturday:

9:00 AM-7:00 PM Your individual schedule will fall within clinic operating hours and will not exceed 5 working days or 40 hours per week. Our team partners closely with children, families, and therapists to build skills, explore interests, increase independence, and support each child's health, happiness, and quality of life. About the Role As a Behavior Technician , you will work one-on-one with children and youth on the autism spectrum, ranging from 18 months to 20 years old, under the supervision of a BCBA. Our programs focus on building meaningful skills in areas such as: Language and communication Socialization Play and leisure skills Independence and daily living skills Community and functional skills Decreasing behaviors that interfere with learning and participation Behavior Technicians are an important part of the LifeLab Kids team. You will implement individualized behavior plans, collect data, collaborate with supervisors and other therapists, and communicate regularly with families. What We're Looking For Current RBT certification required Bachelor's degree preferred, or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree Previous experience working with children with disabilities or special needs required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, or willingness to obtain certification through a face-to-face course at your own cost Comfortable working with children who may sit or play on the floor and/or may not yet be toilet trained Receptive to ongoing supervision, coaching, and feedback Ability to move frequently throughout the center and quickly access or organize materials Ability to anticipate and respond appropriately to client needs and changes in behavior Ability to safely respond to or physically block attempts at aggression when necessary Comfortable working in a fast-paced, active environment Strong organizational and technical skills Ability to accurately collect and enter data into an electronic medical records system Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays as part of a flexible schedule Valid driver's license Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen upon hire
