Job Description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst Do you have a passion for helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) reach their full potential? LifeWays is seeking a BCBA or BCBAD to provide culturally competent, trauma-informed behavioral health services. You'll evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans while collaborating with families, providers, and internal teams to ensure quality, cost-effective care that aligns with LifeWays' mission and values.
What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive autism evaluations using standardized tools to assess communication, social interaction, play, and behaviors. Establish diagnoses, recommend treatment, and design individualized behavior and positive support plans. Review authorizations, levels of care, and treatment progress for Medicaid-funded services. Complete functional behavior assessments, monitor treatment plans, and support appeals or grievance processes as needed. Communicate with providers, participate in peer reviews, and collaborate on interdisciplinary case discussions. Work a flexible schedule, including at least two evenings per week.

Required Education/Certification/Licensure Minimum of a master's degree from an accredited institution conferred in a degree program in which the candidate completed a BACB approved course sequence. Current, active, and unrestricted certification as a BCBA through the BACB. Licensed through the Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Authority (LARA). Experience working with Medicaid or commercial insurance plans. Preferred Education/Certification/Licensure Master of Science/Arts in Applied Behavioral Analysis or Master of Science/Arts in Psychology with a specialization in behavior analysis Board Certified Behavior Analyst Doctoral (BCBAD/LBA)
