Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a School-Based BCBA to support students and school teams in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This full-time opportunity will focus on behavioral assessment, intervention planning, staff coaching, and data-driven decision-making across both general education and special education settings. The ideal candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with educators and school teams to identify effective strategies, promote prevention, and help create positive outcomes for students. Job Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Develop and monitor Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) Coach school staff and model effective behavioral strategies Help teams determine what data should be collected and how to use it effectively Analyze data to determine which interventions are working and what should be adjusted Provide proactive behavioral support and prevention strategies Support students across both general education and special education settings Conduct classroom and student observations Provide professional development and training to school staff Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Supervise the RBT and provide appropriate guidance and support Maintain accurate documentation and behavioral records Position Highlights Full-time, onsite school-based position Work with both general education and special education populations Strong focus on behavioral assessment and intervention Opportunity to coach and empower school staff Data-driven approach to behavioral support Includes RBT supervision Collaborative role working directly with school teams Compensation $50$55 per hour , based on experience and assignment details. Eligible candidates may also have access to benefits and travel assignment options , including stipends for qualifying temporary relocations. Requirements Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Appropriate Michigan credentialing/licensure as required School-based experience preferred Strong behavioral assessment and intervention-planning skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills Ability to effectively coach and train school staff Interested in learning more?
