Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting behavioral and educational success. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting, you'll work collaboratively with educators and support staff to provide one-on-one and group interventions, empowering students to achieve their goals and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Current RBT certification in good standing Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with consistency and accuracy Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude in engaging with diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
Directly implement ABA-based interventions and behavior plans as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Collect data on student behaviors, progress, and intervention outcomes Collaborate with instructional staff to integrate strategies across different classroom settings Engage students in skill-building activities aimed at improving academic, social, and daily living skills Maintain accurate session notes and documentation in compliance with school and professional standards Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities
