In this role, you will work directly with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors, providing support and implementing behavioral interventions to promote positive outcomes. Duties Assist in the implementation of individualized behavior plans under supervision, utilizing therapeutic techniques to encourage desired behaviors. Collect and record data on client progress, behavior patterns, and responses to interventions accurately and consistently. Support clients during daily activities, including skill development, social interactions, and routine tasks. Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, and family members to ensure cohesive care strategies. Observe clients' behaviors closely to identify triggers and develop appropriate response strategies. Maintain a safe environment for clients and staff at all times, adhering to safety protocols and procedures. Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices in behavioral support and intervention methods. Requirements Associates degree in any social services discipline or related field preferred. Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with vulnerable adults and individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors are encouraged to apply. Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental disorders or neurocognitive disorders is highly valued. Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach are essential. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation. Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
