Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in behavioral therapy, teaching, and patient care while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults. As an RBT, you will work closely with a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized care plans and promote positive behavioral change in home-based and clinical settings. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and feeding to foster independence and improve quality of life Collect and record data on client behaviors using precise data collection methods to track progress and inform treatment plans Implement evidence-based interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders Support behavior management strategies by reinforcing positive behaviors and redirecting challenging behaviors in a compassionate manner Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in care and adherence to individualized care plans Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality Assist with medical terminology understanding and documentation related to behavioral health and patient care Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodiverse populations is highly preferred Home-based behavioral experience is advantageous, especially in applying ABA techniques in real-world settings Knowledge of special education practices, behavior management strategies, and medical records documentation is beneficial Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and ethical standards outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts is essential Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adults in a compassionate, patient-centered manner Strong organizational skills for data collection, progress tracking, and maintaining detailed records Join us in creating impactful change through dedicated support, innovative techniques, and compassionate care.
