Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Pay:
$14.00-$17.00 per hour Job type:
Full-time Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Setting:
Clinic-based and school-based Work location: In person Start or Grow Your Career in ABA Spectrum Behavioral Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to join our team. RBT certification is preferred but not required. If you are new to applied behavior analysis (ABA), we can provide the training and support needed to become a Registered Behavior Technician. You will work one-on-one with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills. You will also work closely with a supportive team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and receive ongoing, face-to-face supervision. Why Join Spectrum Behavioral Services? Competitive pay of $14.00-$17.00 per hour Consistent, full-time weekday schedule No evening or weekend hours RBT training available for qualified applicants Weekly face-to-face supervision from a BCBA Opportunity to remain at work and complete assigned duties if a client cancels Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities to develop your ABA skills and grow professionally Meaningful work that directly impacts children and families What You'll Do Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clinic-based and school-based settings Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill-acquisition programs under BCBA supervision Teach communication, social, play, school-readiness, and daily living skills Collect accurate data and document client progress Use positive reinforcement and other evidence-based ABA strategies Support clients with activities of daily living when applicable Respond safely and professionally to challenging behavior according to each client's treatment plan Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, caregivers, teachers, and other team members Maintain client confidentiality and complete required documentation Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings Complete assigned clinic, training, or administrative responsibilities during client cancellations Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Current RBT certification preferred but not required Willingness to complete the training and certification requirements to become an RBT Experience working with children, individuals with autism, special education, behavioral health, or a related field is preferred Ability to follow treatment plans, accept feedback, and work collaboratively Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable collecting data and completing documentation Able to pass all required background checks Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you enjoy working with children, celebrate small victories, remain calm during challenging moments, and want a career where your work has a direct and lasting impact.
