Colorful Minds LLC offers an applied behavior analysis(ABA) based therapeutic program, focused on early intervention, academic, and social skills instruction for children who are diagnosed on the autism spectrum and who cannot be served in alternative settings. Located in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, we are seeking applicants for an exciting career in applied behavior analysis. Properly trained RBTs are vital to our mission at Colorful Minds - they provide care, support, education, and guidance to our clients every day. These children present with unique learning needs and challenging mental health issues, and our therapists work in collaboration with highly trained Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), and other mental health practictioners to provide a safe undertsanding learning environment that will help these children reach their goals and milestones. If you have limited experience with this population, please still consider applying. We provide a vast amount of training, including at orientation, in supervision, and on the job. Colorful Minds provides individualized instruction to meet each child's unique behavioral needs, and do not exceed a one to one client-therapist ratio.

Position Description:

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and have an understanding of utilizing and applying a behavior intervention plan for clients ages one to twelve. Experience working with children in an alternative school setting or treatment program is preferred but not required.

Requirements:

You must be able to implement and follow directions from BCBAs and BCaBAs You must demonstrate professionalism in working with team members, family members, caregivers, & guardians You must be capable of reviewing each client's behavior intervention plan, and other relevant information developed and provided by the BCBA or BCaBA, to facilitate consistent implementation and monitor outcomes appropriately Collect data daily on all assigned clients You must be able to communicate with staff members and supervisors on implementation and progress of plan Assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support the clients' behaviors The implementation of behavioral procedures for acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of maladaptive/problematic behaviors Complete daily progress notes and any other documentation requested by the BCBA or BCaBA Under the guidance of the behavior analyst, provide support as needed to include creating teaching skills, graphing, developing reports, skill probes, functional skill assessments, curricular assessments Ensure timely completion of documentation using the electronic platform provided Ensure all missing/required documentation is provided to your lead RBT Assist in community-building activities and participation in local events Other duties as assigned by supervisor
