Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This role is on-site only, providing dedicated behavioral interventions for students in a school-based setting near Clayton, NC, with work concentrated in the Cary area. The assignment runs from early November through mid-June, allowing you to make a real impact throughout the school year. Interviews are scheduled for October, and successful candidates will start at the beginning of November.
Requirements:
Nationally recognized Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience providing behavioral support to children and adolescents, ideally within an educational environment Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with school teams and families Ability to travel between assigned campuses within the school district (itinerant role) Commitment to on-site availability throughout the contract period
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one or small group Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions for 1-2 students at a time Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to implement behavior plans Collect data and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed under supervision Attend relevant meetings and contribute insights as a valued team member Support students social and academic success through consistent, compassionate intervention
