As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality , compassionate care to our clients. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism. You will implement individualized treatment plans supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and engage with families to support their understanding and involvement in the therapy process. At Opal, we emphasize professional development, providing you with the tools and training necessary to excel in your role while contributing to our mission of promoting effective and ethical behavior analysis. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA Collect data on client behaviors and progress Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development Communicate with families about their child's progress and strategies Assist in developing educational materials and resources Participate in team meetings and training sessions Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis Requirements Active RBT certification
  • OR•certificate of completion of a 40-hour RBT training course recognized and accepted by the BACB•OR•work experience as a BT in the field of ABA High school diploma or GED 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs Ability to obtain CPR certification before your employment start date Ability to pass a criminal background check Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team Desire for ongoing professional development and training Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat throughout the day Comfortable working fully on-site in a center-based setting Benefits Competitive, equitable pay based on experience working in the field of ABA, related fields, and education $1,000 bonus Paid initial and ongoing training Employee Rewards Program•earn reward points for being awesome and spend them like real cash!
