About the Role Diamond Behavior LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in Gastonia, NC. In this rewarding role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Whether you are an experienced RBT or interested in growing your career as a Behavior Technician, we are looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and committed to helping each client reach their fullest potential. Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Provide direct, one-on-one therapy in home, school, daycare, clinic, and community settings Collect accurate and consistent behavioral and skill-acquisition data during each session Use discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching (NET), prompting, reinforcement, and other ABA procedures as trained Implement behavior intervention plans to support the reduction of challenging behaviors Assist clients with developing communication, social, daily living, and independence skills Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress, concerns, and significant changes Complete required session documentation accurately and on time Collaborate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, supervisors, and other members of the clinical team Maintain client confidentiality and follow Diamond Behavior LLC policies, ethical requirements, and applicable BACB standards Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Active Registered Behavior Technician certification required for applicants seeking the RBT position RBT certification is not required at the time of application for the Behavior Technician position; however, applicants must be willing and eligible to complete the necessary training and certification requirements Previous experience working with children or individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, education, childcare, or a related field is preferred Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, human services, or a related field is preferred but not required Strong communication, data collection, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to follow clinical instructions and accept ongoing feedback and supervision Patient, compassionate, dependable, and adaptable demeanor Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, caregivers, and the clinical team Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client locations throughout Gastonia and surrounding areas About Diamond Behavior LLC Diamond Behavior LLC provides compassionate, individualized ABA services to children and families throughout Gastonia and surrounding communities.
