Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to improve their behavioral health and overall quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques tailored to each client's unique requirements. Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for clients. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide training and support to staff members on best practices in applied behavior analysis. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in the field of behavioral health. Requirements Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques. Proficiency in data collection methods and patient assessment processes. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and record-keeping practices. Ability to conduct intake assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans based on client needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.
