They need adults who can provide: Consistency Accountability Encouragement Structure Hope As a Behavior Technician, you'll become part of a team that helps youth develop healthier behaviors, stronger coping skills, emotional regulation, and the confidence to succeed both inside and outside of treatment. A Day in the Life As a Behavior Technician, you will: Build positive, therapeutic relationships with youth Support individualized treatment goals and behavior plans Coach youth through emotional, behavioral, and social challenges Teach coping skills, problem-solving, and emotional regulation Model appropriate communication, accountability, and healthy decision-making Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment Facilitate daily routines, recreational activities, and skill-building opportunities Observe, document, and communicate behavioral progress Respond calmly and professionally during moments of crisis Partner with therapists, nurses, educators, and leadership teams to support youth success Reinforce positive behaviors and celebrate growth milestones Help young people develop the confidence and resilience needed for long-term success The Anderson Difference At Anderson Health Services, we believe that young people are more than their diagnoses, behaviors, or past experiences.
