Company Description Heartshine Behavioral Health, LLC provides neurodiversity-affirming and assent-based care, emphasizing client dignity, individuality, and safety. Specializing in serving children aged 2 and above, with a focus on those 8 and older with severe problem behaviors, we deliver compassionate in-home services. Our approach centers on ensuring that children feel safe, understood, and empowered in their journeys toward progress. Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Registered Behavior Technician, located in Mooresville and Troutman, NC. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will implement behavior intervention plans, work closely with families and team members, and provide direct one-on-one support to children. You will record and analyze client behaviors, assist in fostering skills like communication and social interactions, and report progress to supervising BCBAs. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to organizational values will be key aspects of your role. Qualifications Proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Experience with Behavioral Intervention and Psychology concepts Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and team members Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in working with children and families Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or willingness to obtain it Reliable transportation to work on-site in client homes within the Mooresville and Statesville area High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field is a plus) Familiarity with handling severe problem behaviors is highly beneficial
Pay:
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
