Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) -
Moyock, NC, USA Job Summary:
Galaxy ABA NC LLC, a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Moyock, NC! As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, you'll join a dynamic team that prioritizes kindness, respect, and positive experiences.Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a BCBA Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environmentWhat We're Looking For:
High school diploma (required); Associate's or Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred) Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete before starting, provided by Galaxy ABA) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety Ability to pass background checks and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)What We Offer:
