Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines Collect and record data meticulously to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support teaching sessions that focus on communication, social skills, and behavioral goals in accordance with individualized care plans Help maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop effective behavior management strategies tailored to each individual's needs Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, independence, and emotional well-being Requirements RBT Certification Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in achieving personal goals Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, families, and team members Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and maintaining confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards Compassionate attitude with patience and enthusiasm for teaching and supporting individuals with autism or other developmental challenges High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications such as CPR or First Aid are a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your energy and dedication directly impact lives!
