Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will play a crucial role in providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. This position requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals in the field.
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills through structured activities. Monitor and document client progress, maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques to support skill development. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed effectively. Provide support in managing challenging behaviors using positive behavior management techniques. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in special education and behavioral therapy.
Requirements:
Ability to complete the RBT certification (required for employment but not required to apply). Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or in a behavioral health setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate clients effectively.
