POSITION
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)•2026/27 School Year Opening
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be board certified and have current BCBA status. 1-2 years of experience in a public school setting is preferred.
REPORTS TO
Director of Student Services and Principals
JOB GOAL
The BCBA will be an active member of students' educational teams as directed by the Director of Student Services and Principals. Through collaboration with School Psychologists, clinicians, and general and special educators the BCBA will support programming for students aged 3-22 years.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
•Job responsibilities are subject to change The BCBA will conduct descriptive and systemic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provide behavior analytic interpretations of the results. The BCBA will design and supervise behavior analytic interventions. The BCBA will effectively develop and implement appropriate assessment and intervention methods. The BCBA will provide direct services to students. The BCBA will train and supervise others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research and designs and deliver instruction in behavior analysis. The BCBA will supervise others who implement behavior analytic interventions. The BCBA will report to district-wide administration regarding best practices in behavioral analytics and interventions in order to support consistency through the district.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
In accordance with the Conway Education Association (CEA) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
WORK YEAR
187 days/school year position
EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Conway School Board's policy on Evaluation of CEA membership. The Principal, Director of Student Services and/or administrative designee will be the evaluator.
