9671740-03103 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary learners in an enriching classroom environment near Manchester, NH. Youll make a direct impact by working alongside students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, participating in a collaborative school community from October 2026 through May 2027. This role provides dedicated support to a new, non-verbal student on a rotational 1:1 basis, gradually integrating into the classroom setting and expanding involvement over time.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or experience as a Behavior Tech/Paraprofessional specializing in behavioral support Previous hands-on experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an educational setting In-depth understanding of behavioral intervention strategies Flexibility to rotate support across students as needed Clear and effective communication abilities Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment 1:1 experience alone does not meet requirements; specific Behavior/ASD experience is essential
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct, individualized behavioral support to a non-verbal student, adapting strategies to meet unique needs Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement behavior intervention plans and track student progress Rotate as a classroom support, expanding responsibilities as student integration increases Foster positive social and emotional growth within the classroom Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and student development Assist with classroom routines and contribute to a cohesive team atmosphere This contract offers a weekly schedule of 32.5 hours (8:15am3:15pm), making it ideal for those seeking consistent hours within a school calendar.
