Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your role is vital in delivering personalized support, fostering skill development, and promoting positive behavior change across various settings, including home, school, and community environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while helping clients achieve their full potential through compassionate and effective behavioral therapy. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and communication skills, to promote independence Support teaching strategies aligned with client-specific care plans in various settings including home-based and school environments Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to provide updates on progress and address any concerns Follow ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure high-quality care Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health initiatives effectively Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress and supporting medical documentation needs Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and home-based behavioral experiences is a plus Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Commitment to professional growth through ongoing training in special education, behavior therapy, and ethical standards Must meet state-specific requirements for Registered Behavior Technicians where applicable Join us in delivering impactful behavioral health services that empower individuals to thrive!
