Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team in delivering high-quality behavioral health services. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your role is vital in helping clients develop essential life skills, improve behavior, and achieve greater independence. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and other self-care routines Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in developing communication, social, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies Conduct behavioral assessments and contribute to the development of personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical records and client information Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers to provide updates on progress and reinforce therapy goals at home or school settings Requirements Valid Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients through behavioral health interventions Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress and documenting medical records accurately Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards Prior experience working in home-based or school settings supporting individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is preferred Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate care, innovative teaching methods, and dedicated support.
