The BCBA Role As a BCBA at PTA, you will play an important leadership role within each child's treatment team. You'll have the opportunity to develop individualized treatment plans, mentor ABA therapists, partner closely with families, collaborate with other pediatric disciplines, and celebrate the everyday wins that make this work so rewarding.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and overseeing individualized, evidence-based ABA treatment plans Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations and monitoring client progress Supervising, coaching, and mentoring ABA Therapists and RBTs Providing meaningful, individualized parent and caregiver training Collaborating with Speech, OT, PT, Feeding, ABA, schools, physicians, and other members of the child's care team Developing functional and meaningful goals based on each child's individual needs Reviewing treatment data and adjusting programming based on progress Creating positive, engaging, and supportive learning environments Serving as a trusted resource for parents and caregivers throughout treatment Communicating with schools, insurance providers, medical professionals, and other community partners when appropriate Conducting Peer-to-Peer meetings when required by insurance providers Completing and reviewing required clinical documentation within our EMR Partnering with our administrative and billing teams to support accurate authorization, documentation, and billing processes Supporting continuity of care across clinic, home, school, and community environments , when applicable Celebrating progress — from the smallest victories to the biggest milestones! What We're Looking For Required:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification New Jersey LBA Our ideal BCBA is someone who: Has a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and evidence-based practices Loves working with children and families Values collaboration over working in a silo Enjoys mentoring and developing ABA staff Communicates effectively with families, coworkers, schools, and other professionals Is organized, reliable, and clinically thoughtful Uses data to guide clinical decision-making Is comfortable utilizing technology and electronic medical record systems Brings compassion, patience, professionalism, and positivity to their work Wants to be part of a team where people genuinely support one another Is excited to contribute ideas and grow alongside a growing organization A Different Kind of Pediatric Therapy Environment One of the things we're most proud of at PTA is our ability to bring multiple pediatric disciplines together under one roof. Full-Time Hourly | Part-Time | Per Diem Availability and scheduling options may vary by clinic. Physical Requirements This position may require the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, move throughout an active pediatric therapy environment, communicate effectively, and utilize computers and other office/clinical equipment.
