Hourly, Full-Time Hours Saffron Therapeutic Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Therapists to join our growing team. We provide high-quality ABA services in our center, as well as in home and community settings, to children with autism and related developmental disorders. Position Experienced ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Location Maplewood, NJ Schedule Core hours: 8:00 PM - 6:00 PM, weekdays only Approximately 40 hours per week What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Highly supportive and collaborative work environment Supervision for BCBA candidates Weekly in-person BCBA support (at minimum) RBT training provided Ongoing continuing education opportunities Flexible scheduling Opportunity for growth and career advancement Team-building events Positive, enjoyable environment with people who truly care about each other and the work we do Responsibilities Provide behavior intervention services to individuals diagnosed with autism and related disorders in the center, home, school, and community settings Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans developed by a BCBA with continuous in-person support Collect and record data using our data collection software Prepare and maintain organized program materials Complete accurate treatment notes within required timeframes Adhere strictly to BACB ethical and professional guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute meaningful clinical input We're Looking for Someone Who Has A positive attitude and willingness to learn with each client A desire to motivate and encourage clients, families, and teammates The ability to take initiative and work collaboratively Openness to feedback and the ability to apply it effectively Flexibility to adapt when data or client needs indicate change Physical Requirements Ability to lift 25-50 lbs Ability to sit on the floor, bend, squat, kneel, and move quickly as needed Ability to run short distances Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and community locations Qualifications Minimum of an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) RBT certification or completion within 90 days of hire Background check and two professional references required Completion of company training within 30 days of hire Experience working with children in a professional settingPreferred:
at least 1 year of experience implementing ABA-based behavior intervention programs Knowledge of child developmental milestones and autism spectrum disorders Ability to build positive rapport while maintaining instructional control Work Locations Center Home and community (as needed) Remote work is not availableJob Type:
