Flexible Program:
NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) Serenity NJ is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide Behavioral Supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. RBTs will work under appropriate clinical supervision to implement and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans, collect behavioral data, and help individuals develop positive behaviors, greater independence, and meaningful community participation. Responsibilities Implement and monitor established Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) Provide positive behavioral interventions under appropriate supervision Collect and document behavioral data accurately Monitor implementation of behavioral strategies and provide caregiver/DSP coaching as appropriate Communicate behavioral changes, concerns, and progress to the supervising clinician Collaborate with families, DSPs, Support Coordinators, and other team members Maintain all required NJ DDD documentation and compliance standards Qualifications Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential Experience with ABA and/or Positive Behavior Supports Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to successfully complete all required NJ DDD background checks, CARI, Central Registry, drug screening (as applicable), and required trainings Valid driver's license and reliable transportation when required Experience supporting adults with behavioral acuity factors or complex behavioral needs is strongly preferred.
