Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal behavioral support role at a welcoming educational setting near Newark, NJ! This contract opportunity is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) ready to make an immediate impact in K-12 environments. You'll collaborate closely with educators, channeling your expertise to empower both students and staff throughout the district. This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through December 23rd, providing direct 1:1 support for students and guidance to teachers and aides. With a focus on ensuring all learners thrive, you'll be a resource for implementing tailored strategies and conducting targeted training sessions. What we're seeking: Active BCBA certification with experience in school-based or pediatric settings Confidence in providing individualized behavioral interventions Strong communication and consulting skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to create and oversee behavior intervention plans and model best practices Previous experience training staff or facilitating group workshops preferred Adaptability to changing caseloads and school needs Commitment to supporting both short-term and possible maternity leave openings Role responsibilities: Deliver 1:1 behavioral analysis and intervention for students with diverse needs Consult with teachers to recommend and implement evidence-based classroom strategies Develop, review, and revise behavioral plans as needed Lead training sessions for teachers and aides to boost confidence and technique Monitor progress and adjust approaches to maximize student success Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with school team members If you are passionate about fostering positive change and supporting educators, your expertise will be truly valued in this collaborative district.
